Nuclear Control Systems Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Control Systems Engineer to join our team in Peterborough, Ontario. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the technical direction of projects and providing technical interfacing to both internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for control systems and instrumentation.
- Liaise with personnel from various customer groups to gather site-specific design information.
- Execute walk downs of equipment in the plant to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Present technical data to internal and external customers and ensure designs comply with regulatory standards.
- Participate in design reviews and customer review meetings to provide stakeholder input.
- Test execution and commissioning of complex equipment and systems.
- Review selection of components and equipment to ensure compliance with safety and performance criteria.
- Adhere to on-time and on-budget project commitments.
- Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Electrical/Instrumentation & Control/Automation Engineering or related field.
- Purple Book license (PEO).
- Typically 3 years' experience in design engineering in nuclear, aerospace, transportation, oil and gas, mining, or other highly regulated industries.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Creative problem-solving skills, analytical abilities, leadership skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
