Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Engineering Manager for Pressure Boundary Systems to join our team in Peterborough, Ontario.

Responsibilities
  • Lead design engineering activities for complex mechanical equipment and systems throughout the entire product life cycle.
  • Prepare and review technical documents, drawings, and BOMs.
  • Perform stress analysis using classical and modern techniques.
  • Develop and implement design for manufacturability/assembly (DFMA) techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
Requirements
  • B.A.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Current PEO license.
  • 10 years of experience in design engineering in the nuclear industry.
  • 3 years of experience in technical leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead engineering projects and contribute to process change through enhancement and technology introduction.
Desired Characteristics
  • Experience with 3D CAD software (e.g., Inventor/Solidworks) and FEA software (e.g., ANSYS APDL & Workbench).
  • Familiarity with CSA Nuclear Codes and Standards.
  • Knowledge of process system, pressure vessel, or pressure boundary component design.
Compensation

The estimated salary range for this position in Ontario is between $82,000.00 and $124,000.00 per year. The total compensation package may also include an annual cash incentive and a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits.
