Job Summary

Hydro One Networks Inc is seeking a Co-op Student - Contracts Management to join our team. As a Co-op Student - Contracts Management, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop key Contract and Project Management concepts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with contract requirements
  • Monitor, report, and prepare reports on contracts progress across transmission and distribution projects
  • Monitor, report, and assist with contractor performance evaluations, tracking milestones and status reports
  • Assess, plan, budget, and schedule assigned work, providing necessary data and reports as required
  • Assist in preparing and presenting contract plans, updated processes, plans, and status reports to management and other stakeholders
  • Attend and document station site visits
  • Assist in the development of capital project program, engineering, and construction plans
  • Utilize various project application software to populate and articulate execution plans
  • Assist with administrative duties to support Contracts Management and Project Management staff
Requirements
  • Disciplines: Business Administration
  • Academic level: 2nd or 3rd year university student
  • Other requirements: Familiar with Microsoft applications, SharePoint, Power BI, Power Automate
  • Good communications skills and able to present to the team
Additional Information

Hydro One Networks Inc requires that all students applying for student opportunities be enrolled in post-secondary level studies and be returning to full-time studies upon the completion of their work term. Exceptions will be made in cases where students require a work term in order to graduate.
