Job Title: Inclusion and Diversity Co-op Student

The Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Co-op Student to join our Inclusion and Diversity team. As a Co-op Student, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research on best practices in inclusion and diversity, and prepare related materials such as presentations and reports.
  • Analyze data and trends to support the development of inclusion and diversity strategies.
  • Support the development of meeting materials and briefings on topics related to inclusion and diversity.
  • Contribute to the collection and reporting of data and feedback to support the overall inclusion and diversity strategy.
  • Support the development of policies, toolkits, and programs aligned with achieving inclusion and diversity objectives.
Requirements:
  • In process of completing an undergraduate or graduate degree in human resources, business, sociology, public policy, or a related field of study.
  • Passion for inclusion and diversity, with a commitment to values diversity and applies an equity lens.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
