National Sales Director

Amgen SA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced National Sales Manager to lead our Rare Disease Business Unit (RDBU) sales organization. This critical role is accountable for managing and building out the growing Amgen RDBU sales organization, supporting the ongoing launch of UPLIZNA in NMOSD, and upcoming launches of TEPEZZA in TED & UPLIZNA in IgG4.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a growing sales team to establish Amgen as a valued strategic partner in the Rare Disease space.
- Ensure Canadian patients have timely and appropriate access to Amgen medicines.
- Build an engaged and high-performing sales organization.
- Provide strategic insights on customer-facing dynamics.
- Forge strong relationships with internal senior-level decision makers.
- Deliver national sales results and account objectives to realize Amgen's mission and commitment to serving patients.
- Bachelor's degree and 8 years of pharmaceutical/medical industry experience.
- Minimum 2 years of managerial experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience of brand teams, projects, programs, or directing the allocation of resources.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and French is an asset.
- Experience in Rare Disease Strategic Account Management and Neurology, Ophthalmology, and/or Endocrinology is a strong asset.
