Retail Store Supervisor

About the Role:
Fruiticana #32 is seeking a highly organized and efficient Store Supervisor to join our team. As a Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assign sales workers to duties and oversee their performance
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles
- Authorize payments by cheque and manage the store's finances
- Order merchandise and maintain an organized inventory system
- Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure that the store runs smoothly and efficiently
- Conduct performance reviews to identify areas for improvement and provide feedback to staff
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail environment
- Efficient interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Organized and reliable with a strong attention to detail
Working Conditions:
- 37.5 hours per week
- Permanent position
- Work Language: English
