Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Optical Associate to join our team at our Penticton Skaha Lake clinic. As an Optical Associate, you will play a critical role in delivering world-class service to our patients and helping us achieve our mission of enhancing the lives of our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Assist patients in selecting the best eyewear options for their lifestyle and needs
- Interpret optical prescriptions and perform frame and facial measurements to ensure correct fit and positioning of new eyewear
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery
- Manage appointment bookings, prescription printouts, and billing and payments
- Previous experience in a customer-facing, preferably retail environment
- Previous optical experience is considered an asset
- Passionate about customer service and delivering exceptional patient care
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work effectively as part of a team
