About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Risk Evaluator to join our team at ALLTIME INVESTMENTS INC. As an Insurance Risk Evaluator, you will play a critical role in evaluating individual and group applications for insurance, ensuring compliance with government regulations, and providing recommendations on insurance plan designs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Insurance Application Review: Review individual and group applications for insurance, evaluating the risks and determining the extent of coverage.
  • Underwriting Analysis: Evaluate new and renewal applications to determine insurance risks, premiums, and coverage, using medical reports, rate tables, and other documents.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with government regulations and industry standards.
  • Insurance Plan Design: Provide recommendations on individual or group insurance plan designs, taking into account the company's risk tolerance and business objectives.
  • Underwriting Advice: Provide expert underwriting advice to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Reporting: Prepare underwriting reports and present findings to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in insurance underwriting or a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: 35 hours per week, permanent position.
