Welcome to Mandeep S. Dandiwal Insurance & Financial Services Inc. We are seeking an experienced Insurance Risk Evaluator to join our team. Below are the key responsibilities and requirements for this role.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Review individual and group applications for insurance to ensure they meet our company’s risk assessment criteria.
  • Evaluate new and renewal applications to determine insurance risks, premiums, extent of coverage, and other conditions.
  • Use medical reports, rate tables, and other documents to inform our underwriting decisions.
  • Approve the sale of insurance policies, ensuring that they are suitable for our clients’ needs.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide recommendations on individual or group insurance plan designs to meet our clients’ objectives.
  • Offer underwriting advice and guidance to our clients and other company personnel.
  • Prepare underwriting reports to communicate our risk assessment findings.

Requirements:

  • Provincial or territorial underwriting licence.
    Insurance Experience:

    • Liability insurance.
    • Business risk insurance.
    • Automobile insurance.
    • Fire insurance.
    • Health insurance.
    • Life insurance products.
    • Property insurance.
