About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Insurance Underwriter to join our team at ALLTIME INVESTMENTS INC. As an Insurance Underwriter, you will play a crucial role in evaluating insurance risks and determining insurance premiums.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Review and Evaluate Insurance Applications: Carefully review individual and group insurance applications to assess risks and determine insurance premiums.
  2. Determine Insurance Risks and Premiums: Evaluate new and renewal applications to determine insurance risks, premiums, extent of coverage, and other conditions.
  3. Use Medical Reports and Rate Tables: Utilize medical reports, rate tables, and other documents to determine coverage and make informed decisions.
  4. Ensure Compliance with Regulations: Ensure that all insurance applications comply with government regulations and industry standards.
  5. Provide Underwriting Advice: Offer expert advice on individual or group insurance plan designs to ensure optimal coverage and risk management.
  6. Prepare Underwriting Reports: Create detailed underwriting reports to support insurance decisions and recommendations.
Requirements:
  1. Education: College/CEGEP degree or equivalent.
  2. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in insurance underwriting or a related field.
  3. Certifications and Memberships: Membership in the Insurance Institute of Canada.
  4. Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in English.
