Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Laboratory Patient Service Technician to join our team in Kenora, Ontario. As a Laboratory Patient Service Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and service, and will be responsible for performing phlebotomies, collecting and processing specimens, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities- Perform phlebotomies, collect and process specimens, and maintain accurate records
- Provide exceptional patient care and service, and respond to patient inquiries and concerns
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely test results
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, and adhere to all laboratory safety protocols
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest laboratory techniques and technologies
- Graduate of an approved Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent
- Phlebotomy experience and certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
