Service Technician Role Overview

At CB Canada, we're seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team in Kenora. As a Service Technician, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our clients' mobility devices are safe and functioning correctly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair custom mobility equipment, including manual wheelchairs, power wheelchairs, and elevating equipment.
  • Deliver, install, and repair mobility devices at clients' homes, facilities, or our care centre.
  • Assess and troubleshoot issues clients may be experiencing with their devices.
  • Repair electrical systems within mobility devices and program basic power and mobility equipment.
  • Install and repair elevating products and solutions.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a customer service role.
  • Exposure to using diagnostic tools, electronic equipment, and completing mechanical repairs.
  • An interest in or knowledge of mobility products is beneficial.
  • An avid troubleshooter, you're innovative and efficient in your approach to solving problems.
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds to move or repair equipment and devices.
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • A clean criminal background check and ability to be bondable.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours on occasion to accommodate clients' needs.
