About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mortgage Broker to join our team at MCAP. As a Mortgage Broker, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with borrowers, while utilizing your expertise to create personalized financing solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review financial situations of borrowers and assess their ability to qualify for requested solutions
  • Utilize product options and borrower goals to suggest mutually beneficial products and terms
  • Handle enhanced rate negotiations and fee discounting with borrowers
  • Work with underwriting teams, closing coordinators, and borrowers to secure new mortgage approvals and fund new mortgages
  • Adhere to process and service level requirements for each step of the process
  • Handle complex conversations by educating borrowers on the feasibility of desired solutions and required steps to achieve borrower goals

Requirements
  • Solid understanding of MARS, MARSweb, SharePoint, CIC, Investor, and Insurer guidelines
  • Mortgage Servicing or Origination Industry experience (minimum 2 years)
  • Customer Service and/or Retention experience
  • Strong negotiation and retention skills
  • Ability to foster and maintain relationships
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills with emphasis on educating
  • Attention to detail
