Job Summary:
LifeLabs is seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to fill a dual role position as a Laboratory Technician and Mobile Laboratory Patient Service Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and laboratory services in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform phlebotomies, collect and process laboratory specimens, and maintain accurate records.
- Provide patient education and support, ensuring a positive experience for patients and their families.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless laboratory services and patient care.
- Operate laboratory equipment, maintain quality control, and adhere to regulatory standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an approved Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent.
- Phlebotomy experience and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to strict standards of patient privacy.
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle (for Mobile Laboratory Patient Service Representative role).
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
