Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Gas Bar Manager to join our team at Federated Co-operatives Limited. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for the oversight and management of our Gas Bar, ensuring consistent and profitable operations while maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and implement short-term strategies, goals, and objectives for the Gas Bar in alignment with our company's strategic plan.
  • Oversee adherence to brand and merchandising standards, marketing efforts, image standards, financial management, and safety and asset protection.
  • Ensure consistent and profitable operations, with a focus on continually improving processes and procedures.
  • Purchase and market convenience store merchandise, and manage relationships with vendors.
  • Coach and develop team members, providing day-to-day direction and guidance, including performance management and training.
  • Ensure adherence to all regulations, company policies, and procedures.
Requirements
  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
  • 6-9 years of experience in a retail environment.
  • 3+ years of experience leading a medium-sized department.
  • Familiarity with developing departmental goals and strategies.
  • Ability to lead a team and provide day-to-day direction and guidance.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-oriented and committed to excellence.
