About the Role:

Federated Co-operatives Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gas Bar Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for the oversight and management of the Gas Bar, ensuring consistent and profitable operations while continually improving processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement short-term strategies, goals, and objectives for the Gas Bar in alignment with the company's strategic plan.
  • Oversee adherence to brand and merchandising standards, marketing efforts, image standards, financial management, and safety and asset protection.
  • Ensure effective team management, including coaching, performance management, training, and development.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure optimal purchasing and marketing of convenience store merchandise.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations, company policies, and procedures.
  • Represent the company's values of Integrity, Commitment, and Responsibility in all interactions.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 education.
  • 6-9 years of experience in a retail environment.
  • 3+ years of experience leading a medium-sized department.
  • Proven ability to develop departmental goals and strategies.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality results.
