Job Summary

Mona Corporation is seeking a skilled Steel Stud Framer to join our construction team. As a Steel Stud Framer, you will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials. You will also build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems. Additionally, you will fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware. The ideal candidate will have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the field and be able to work in a physically demanding environment with tight deadlines. The working hours will be 40 hours per week, and the language of work will be English. The job is permanent, and the work site environment will include heights, confined spaces, noisy, and dusty conditions. The work setting will be in various locations, including construction, commercial, and industrial sites. The tasks will include preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials, building foundations, installing floor beams, laying subflooring, erecting walls and roof systems, fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware. The work conditions and physical capabilities will include bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking, handling heavy loads, large workload, overtime required, physically demanding, and tight deadlines. The personal suitability will include accuracy, reliability, team player, values, and ethics. The experience will include 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the field. The tools and equipment will include tools, safety equipment/gear, steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, and safety glasses/goggles.
