Job Summary

Mona Corporation is seeking a skilled Steel Stud Framer to join our construction team. As a Steel Stud Framer, you will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, and assembling materials for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
Work Environment

As a Steel Stud Framer, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment with varying weather conditions. You will be required to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty conditions.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in steel stud framing or a related field
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty conditions
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work long hours
