Job Description

Role Overview

The Department of Education, Western Australia is seeking an experienced and passionate Program Coordinator to join our team at Coastal Lakes College. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in supporting the success of our students, particularly those with learning support needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of innovative learning support practices to enhance student outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the Deputy Principal of Inclusive Education & Alternative Pathways to strategically plan and deliver educational leadership that supports the College's vision and goals.
  • Liaise with MESH Program Coordinators to ensure adapted year-level teaching and learning programs are embedded into the Integrated Learning Program.
  • Provide professional guidance to Integrated Learning teachers, ensuring they are up-to-date with curriculum developments, high-impact instruction, and disability-informed practice.
  • Establish and manage administrative and operational systems to ensure the effective operation of the College within DOE guidelines and policy.

  • High level of interpersonal and public relations skills that demonstrate the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships to achieve planned outcomes.
  • Demonstrated professional knowledge and the ability to apply this knowledge to ensure a high level of educational outcomes for all students.
  • Demonstrated capacity to manage physical and financial resources.

Eligibility

  • Hold registration with the Teachers Registration Board of Western Australia.

  • Consent to a National Criminal History Check with the Department's Screening Unit.
