Program Coordinator Job Description

AmerisourceBergen is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Coordinator to join our team. As a Program Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting the success of our programs by providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth execution of daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the team, including handling mail, typing, and maintaining filing systems.
  • Create and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in our CRM system.
  • Execute administrative tasks critical to the progression of patients through our programs.
  • Act as a liaison between team members and other stakeholders.
  • Handle faxes and documents in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Review and analyze documents for Adverse Events and report accordingly.
  • Process copayment requests for patients, pharmacies, and physicians as required.
  • Audit and maintain reports to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Assist with various projects and tasks as assigned by the team.
  • Participate in product and disease training sessions to stay up-to-date on industry developments.
  • Liaise with healthcare professionals to facilitate prescription renewals.
  • Manage inbound and outbound calls to provide excellent customer service.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or post-secondary education preferred.
  • Technical vocational training or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar administrative role.
  • Experience with Salesforce or a CRM system is an asset.
