Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 1742190 Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our restaurant operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our kitchen staff, ensuring seamless food preparation and service.
Key Responsibilities- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize resources
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions
- Prepare food order summaries for the chef to ensure timely and accurate food preparation
- Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and efficient operations
- Supervise 1-2 people, with the potential to expand to 3-4 people
- Provide physical accessibility accommodations to ensure an inclusive work environment
- Offer awareness training to employees to promote a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities, newcomers, refugees, youth, veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
- Willingness to relocate
- Availability to work 30-40 hours per week
- Work Language: English
