Job Title: Restaurant Operations Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Determine menu offerings and implement operational procedures to ensure high-quality products and services
  • Budgeting: Manage costs and revenues to meet or exceed sales targets, with an estimated annual salary range of $60,000 to $80,000 based on performance and location
  • Staff Management: Supervise 5-10 team members, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to enhance their skills and job satisfaction
  • Cash Handling: Balance cash registers, complete balance sheets, and maintain accurate records
  • Maintenance: Organize and maintain inventory, equipment, and facilities to ensure a clean and safe working environment
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints, provide excellent service, and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Marketing: Participate in marketing plans, implementation, and promotions to drive sales growth and brand awareness
  • Performance Monitoring: Conduct regular performance reviews, set goals, and provide feedback to team members
  • Cost Control: Negotiate with suppliers for food and other supplies, manage expenses, and optimize profitability
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintain a safe working environment, and promote a culture of safety among team members
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve business objectives, share knowledge, and support each other's success


Requirements:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Skills:

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
    • Familiarity with MS Office and electronic cash register systems
    • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle a fast-paced environment

  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
