About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Staffing Coordinator to join our team at Amazon Canada Fulfillment Services, ULC. As a key member of our Workforce Staffing team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our hiring initiatives and providing exceptional customer service to our candidates and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Planning and Execution: Serve as the lead to plan, execute, and audit New Hiring Events (NHE) based on labor projections to meet the labor order demands and fill on-time.
  • Candidate Engagement: Meet critical deadlines for initiating background screening and completing drug test process to achieve labor orders, ensuring 100% compliance for work authorization documentation for associates.
  • Applicant Support: Consult with applicants on the best match for their desired position and available opportunities in the area, guiding applicants through the hiring process in accordance with Amazon's policies and procedures.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Utilize Applicant Tracking System to move candidates through the application process and updates appointment arrival status for NHE, tracking and maintaining statistics on effectiveness of Recruitment through weekly reports on recruiting data for presentation to HR leadership and business partners.
  • Training and Development: Train Sr. Staffing Administrators, Staffing Administrators, and Staffing Ambassadors on best practices and ensure standard work is followed, maintaining confidentiality on candidate sensitive topics.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or experience in a professional field or military.
  • Experience: 2+ years' experience in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment, such as operations, administrative support, customer service, retail, hospitality, staffing, recruiting, human resources or another related field.
  • Skills: Intermediate to advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required as well as tech understanding of other platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment, such as operations, administrative support, customer service, retail, hospitality, staffing, recruiting, human resources or another related field, with a minimum of one-year experience in HR/staffing.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems or other tracking and reporting systems, technical coding skills is a plus.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual written/speaking is desirable.
