Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a diverse caseload of litigation files from start to finish, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other essential legal documents.
  • Provide strategic and timely legal advice to clients, ensuring their best interests are represented.
  • Collaborate with senior lawyers and team members on complex cases, contributing to strategic planning and business development.
  • Stay informed about legal developments and changes in relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in civil litigation, with a focus on personal injury or insurance defense.
  • A member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
  • Superior communication and English writing skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Significant experience in personal injury or insurance defense litigation is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of accident benefits and injury tort claims.
  • Proficiency in French or other languages is considered a valuable asset.
