Job Title: Senior Real Estate Attorney

CLV Group is a leading real estate firm in Canada, specializing in high-quality asset acquisition, development, and management. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Real Estate Attorney to join our team and provide expert legal support across all facets of our real estate activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with various departments to provide legal support and ensure project success.
  • Liaise with external legal counsel, government agencies, and regulatory bodies as needed.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to property acquisition, development, and management.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal due diligence for property acquisitions.
  • Oversee and resolve legal disputes related to real estate transactions and property management.
  • Identify and assess potential legal risks, providing strategic advice to mitigate these risks.
Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the Canadian bar.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate law, with a focus on asset acquisition, property development, and corporate law.
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian real estate transactions, contract law, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High ethical standards and professional integrity.
