Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Coordinator, Investments to join our team at Media Experts, a leading full-service media agency. As a key member of our integrated media investment team, you will work closely with client account leads and team members to support the maintenance and preparation of monthly budget forecasting, customer audits, and analyses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly forecasting reports to ensure accurate and timely delivery of financial data.
  • Investigate and resolve variances in current vs. forecast, current vs. prior years, and quarter vs. quarter to ensure alignment with agency-wide targets and commitments.
  • Coordinate with planning and buying teams to ensure forecasts, rates, and plans are aligned to meet annual targets and commitments.
  • Develop knowledge of the media landscape and stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments.
  • Attend media seminars and vendor presentations to stay informed and network with industry professionals.
  • Take initiative to streamline and improve existing processes, providing tangible solutions for ongoing and future challenges.
  • Assist in the preparation of client billing estimates and reconciliations, and resolve billing discrepancies and queries.
  • Develop proficiency with media-related tools and research systems to enhance analytical and financial acumen.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in a quantitative field, such as finance, accounting, or business administration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen, with the ability to manage and prioritize time effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Proficiency in Excel tools, such as pivot tables, XLOOKUP, Power Query, conditional formatting, and IF statements.
