Job Description

The Senior Manager, Investment Lifecycle Management role at Ontario Teachers' is a key position that requires a unique blend of investment management expertise, leadership skills, and technical knowledge. As a member of the Investment Division, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and continuous enhancement of the Investment Lifecycle processes, ensuring the efficient and effective execution of investment operations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with internal partners to document, manage, and drive business insights that measure the effectiveness of Investment Lifecycle Management processes.
  2. Design, implement, and monitor service KPIs, working with application support teams to resolve issues and optimize technologies related to third-party investment management activities.
  3. Lead a motivated team to support transaction execution in collaboration with internal/external partners, acting as a backup resource for day-to-day transactions execution.
  4. Develop and implement tactical improvements aligned with strategy, applying Lean processes and identifying Shift to the Left opportunities.
  5. Continuously evolve the ILM design processes, incorporating emerging technologies and staying abreast of industry developments.

Requirements

  1. Undergraduate Degree in Business (e.g., Finance, Economics) or equivalent experience.
  2. CFA or other Financial or Risk Management designations.
  3. PMP or other Project Designations are an asset.
  4. Strong understanding of Investments and Investments Lifecycle.
  5. Strong Mathematical and Quantitative Analysis skills, Critical Thinking.
  6. Well-versed with technology/CRM databases, able to adapt and apply to a large variety of problems/solutions.
  7. Proficiency with Data Science concepts, Data Management.
  8. Well-versed with data visualizations (Power BI).
  9. Advanced User of Microsoft Suite / Microsoft Power Apps.
  10. Strong Communications, Entrepreneurial Spirit.
  11. 10+ years of relevant experience.
