About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at A&W Fast Food Restaurant. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food quality meets our high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Excellence: Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless execution.
  • Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews to assess employee performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to minimize waste and ensure that we have the necessary supplies to meet customer demand.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Participate in marketing plans and implementation to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, providing solutions to resolve issues.
  • Team Leadership: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure that our team is working efficiently and effectively.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition and provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers and provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 40 hours per week.
