Electronics Technician II

STERIS is seeking an Electronics Technician II to join our team. As an Electronics Technician II, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks involved in assembling, prototyping, testing, soldering, and maintaining electronic equipment and components.
Key Responsibilities:- Gather information and share ideas for future improvements in electronic testing and related protocols.
- Read and understand diagrams, schematics, mechanical drawings, and bills of materials to ensure there is an understanding of the task at hand.
- Perform routine production testing to ensure proper functionality of PCB and module designs.
- Assemble electromechanical modules and control cabinets.
- Conduct failure analysis, document results, and recommend corrective action.
- Assist with inventory to ensure parts are available to fulfill project requirements.
- Two (2) or more years of related experience.
- Associate Degree or Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering Technician/Technology, Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technician OR four (4) additional years of related experience.
- Advanced knowledge of electronic components and principles, safety procedures, and electro-mechanical tools.
- Knowledge of soldering techniques, testing procedures, methods, tools, and electrical equipment.
- Ability to interpret schematics, mechanical and electrical drawings, diagrams, wiring lists, Bill of Materials and internally driven specifications.
- Ability to set goals and work cross-functionally with other teams.
