Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and directing construction projects from initiation to completion. This involves monitoring project scope, budgets, and schedules, as well as reviewing quotes for technical accuracy. The Project Manager will also be accountable for preparing cost estimates, communicating with crews and sub-trades, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, contractual obligations, and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct construction projects from initiation to completion.
- Monitor project scope, budgets, and schedules, making adjustments as needed.
- Review quotes for technical accuracy and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
- Prepare cost estimates and communicate with crews and sub-trades to determine best practices.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, contractual obligations, and specifications.
- Investigate and reconcile actual costs vs. budget project costs.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure project deliverables are met within the project schedule.
- Monitor construction progress to identify and resolve potential discrepancies, scope creep, and time lost.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of experience managing construction projects.
- Able to fully understand project scope, documents, and estimates.
- Strong communication skills with internal teams and clients.
- Must have experience and/or knowledge of the industry.
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Self-motivated, tactful, organized, results-oriented professional.
- Problem-solving and conflict management skills.
- Ability to generate ideas and create processes to grow service department.
Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
