Job Description

Gardon Construction Ltd is a reputable general contracting firm specializing in commercial, industrial, multi-family residential, institutional, healthcare, and high & low-rise envelope restoration projects.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to oversee and coordinate all aspects of our light commercial construction projects. As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, on-site management, and quality control to ensure successful project completion within budget and timeline constraints.

The ideal candidate will have minimum 3 years of experience in commercial construction with proven project management skills, knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques, excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, proficiency in project management software, and strong familiarity with construction safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise all phases of light commercial construction projects.
  • Review project plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure adherence to project requirements and standards.
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including work performed, materials used, equipment on-site, and any incidents or delays.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams to ensure effective teamwork and collaboration.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial construction.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques relevant to light commercial projects.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools for scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Strong familiarity with construction safety regulations and best practices.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.

Compensation and Benefits:

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary range of $38-$45 per hour.
