Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Analytics Leadership Expert to lead our team of data scientists and ML engineers in identifying and qualifying AI opportunities, architecting value-creating models, and building and deploying AI solutions. The successful candidate will direct a team of data scientists and ML engineers and work closely with senior leadership to drive data-driven business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of analytics solutions that drive significant value for the business.
  • Direct the strategic design, development, and delivery of new ideas, programs, and projects using advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and artificial intelligence.
  • Provide key insights and intelligence to stakeholders.
  • Oversee technical design discussions on analytics projects, ensuring technical requirements are translated and understood by key stakeholders.
  • Develop key performance metrics to measure project success.
  • Ensure data and advanced analytics requirements are included on all major initiatives, setting the organization up for future success.
  • Oversee an effective analytics project process.
  • Build project teams and serve as senior-level management contact for issues.
  • Ensure project deliverables are completed on time and issues are resolved quickly.

Requirements:

  • 15 years of experience in data mining, modeling, and strategy design directly aligned to this position.
  • Knowledge of technology solutions used in the development and deployment of advanced analytics functions.
  • Solid knowledge of Big Data concepts.
  • A demonstrated track record of consistently meeting and/or exceeding performance expectations.
  • Advanced degrees in statistics, math, or business (MBA) an asset.

Estimated Salary: $113,125 - $231,000 CAD per year
