The Clinical Program Coordinator will play a key role in planning and implementing the expansion of COPD Care and Education. This includes communications, training, research, and evaluation. The coordinator will be responsible for planning team meetings, both locally and provincially, leading the collection and processing of research and quality assurance data and leading the development of grant and other funding opportunities to facilitate the expansion of services across the province.
About YouWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced healthcare professional with a strong background in respiratory therapy and program coordination. The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree in respiratory therapy and be registered with the Nova Scotia College of Respiratory Therapists. A minimum of four years' experience in respiratory therapy is required, with a strong focus on COPD care and education. The candidate should also have experience working with patients and families with chronic disease, leading teams, giving presentations, program development, program coordination, project management, managing teams, quality improvement, qualitative and quantitative mixed-methods research, and patient and family engagement.
HoursThis is a permanent full-time position working 75 hours biweekly. The position is hybrid, with a mix of working from home and at the BLCOC office.
Compensation and BenefitsThe successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of $33.97 - $42.89 hourly, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, and a defined benefit pension plan.
