About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team at Thanh Vu Restaurant Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the preparation and cooking of meals, as well as training and supervising junior staff members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and cooking.
  • Train and supervise junior staff members in food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
  • Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene are maintained at all times.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed.
  • Prepare and cook meals for special guests or functions.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Noisy and hot work environment.
  • Physically demanding, requiring standing for extended periods and bending, crouching, and kneeling.
