About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team at Thanh Vu Restaurant Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Supervise and train junior kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking, and presentation techniques.
  • Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop new recipes and menus.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and presentation techniques.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with a team of experienced chefs and kitchen staff. The role requires standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting.
