Administrative Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team at the Health Sciences Association of BC. The successful candidate will have a strong background in administrative support, with a focus on providing exceptional service to our members and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide administrative support to our team, including answering phones, responding to emails, and preparing correspondence.
- Manage and maintain accurate records and databases, including membership information and event details.
- Coordinate meetings and events, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and sending follow-up communications.
- Develop and implement administrative processes and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with our team to achieve our goals and objectives.
- 5 years or more of experience in an administrative role.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience working in a unionized environment.
- Knowledge of QuickBooks and Simply Accounting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
