Job Summary

The Restaurant Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring that all customers receive exceptional service and that the quality of food and beverages meets our high standards.

This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and Train Staff: Lead a team of servers, hosts/hostesses, and kitchen staff to ensure that they are providing excellent customer service and adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Manage Restaurant Operations: Oversee the preparation and serving of food and beverages, maintain a clean and safe working environment, and ensure that all equipment is functioning properly.
  • Control Labor Costs: Monitor labor hours and schedules to ensure that they align with customer demand and minimize waste.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Handle customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that issues are resolved promptly and to the customer's satisfaction.

Requirements

To be successful as a Restaurant Supervisor at Sushi Cove, you will need:

  • 2+ Years of Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within the food service industry.
  • Secondary Education: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, staff, and management.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve excellence.
