Electrical Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at INVISTA Canada's nylon manufacturing site in Kingston, Ontario.
About the RoleThis is a critical position within our Maintenance Team, responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work on industrial equipment.
The successful candidate will possess a current Certificate of Qualification 442A License as an Industrial Electrician or 309A as a Construction & Maintenance Electrician.
Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance and safety.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical issues and develop effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and collaborate with the operating shift team to implement reliability-centered maintenance strategies.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in an industrial, manufacturing, refining, or chemical facility as a licensed Industrial Electrician.
- Experience working with instrumentation and controls, as well as troubleshooting Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
