We are seeking an Electronics Manufacturing Specialist to join our team at our Kingston subsidiary. This position offers excellent conditions and benefits after a probation period.

This role involves assembling mixed electrical, optical, and mechanical systems according to drawings and assembly manuals. You will also be responsible for making cables and wiring harnesses, performing basic maintenance tasks, and keeping production and logistics spaces clean and well-organized.

The ideal candidate will have arm-hand steadiness with good hand-eye coordination, detail-oriented skills, and the ability to learn quickly. They will also possess good oral and written English communication skills, as well as the ability to interpret electrical and mechanical technical drawings.

In this role, you will work on high-power industrial laser processing applications in advanced manufacturing environments. The estimated annual salary for this position is $55,000-$65,000.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble complex electronic, optical, and mechanical systems according to technical drawings and specifications
  • Make high-quality cables and wiring harnesses using crimped and soldered connectors
  • Prepare completed equipment and spare parts for shipment, verifying contents against order documentation
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 20 kg (45 lb) packages
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and management
  • Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical technical drawings
