The Role
We are looking for experienced sales professionals to drive adoption of our product at Higher Ed institutions, universities, and colleges.
An ideal candidate is a results-driven achiever, effective in a remote work environment, and committed to success and growth with the company.
Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to close, to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Craft and execute a territory sales plan to drive product adoption.
- Present the product to researchers, teaching faculty, and academic librarians, both online and in person.
- Proactively communicate with clients and users through various channels.
- Analyze trends and make data-driven decisions to prioritize work.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver on sales targets, team projects, and campaigns.
- Participate in tradeshows and other marketing activities.
Requirements
- A college degree.
- At least 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in EdTech or Academic Publishing.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Experience with Salesforce and platforms like Hubspot.
- Confidence in dealing with clients and product users.
- Self-motivation, initiative, results-oriented, and a willingness to learn new skills.
- A drive to succeed and a proven ability to overcome challenges.
