Restaurant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at KFC / Taco Bell. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food is prepared to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate Daily Operations: Monitor and evaluate the performance of our restaurant, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor Revenues and Labour Costs: Analyze sales data and labour costs to determine the most effective ways to manage our resources and maximize profitability.
  • Staff Performance: Train, develop, and motivate our team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent customer service and prepare high-quality food.
  • Plan and Organize Daily Operations: Develop and implement plans to ensure the smooth operation of our restaurant, including scheduling, inventory management, and supply chain logistics.
  • Recruit and Retain Staff: Attract, select, and retain top talent to join our team, ensuring that we have the right people in place to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Set Staff Work Schedules: Create and manage staff schedules to ensure that our restaurant is adequately staffed at all times, while also considering the needs and preferences of our team members.
  • Train Staff: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to help our team members build their skills and knowledge, and to ensure that they are equipped to handle a variety of situations.
  • Determine Type of Services to be Offered: Analyze customer demand and market trends to determine the types of services and products that will be most successful in our restaurant.
  • Implement Operational Procedures: Develop and implement procedures to ensure that our restaurant operates efficiently and effectively, including inventory management, supply chain logistics, and customer service standards.
  • Organize and Maintain Inventory: Manage our inventory levels to ensure that we have the right products in stock at the right time, while also minimizing waste and reducing costs.
  • Ensure Health and Safety Regulations are Followed: Ensure that our restaurant complies with all relevant health and safety regulations, including food safety, sanitation, and employee safety.
  • Negotiate with Suppliers: Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure that we receive the best possible prices and service for our products.
  • Negotiate with Clients: Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure that we meet their needs and exceed their expectations.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints, resolving issues and ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 44 hours per week.
