Cineplex is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at The Rec Room Square One location. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook food to order, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste.
- Work efficiently in a team environment to meet kitchen production demands.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and meet customer expectations.
- Participate in menu planning and preparation, contributing to the development of new dishes and specials.
- Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining kitchen equipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional manner.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary training or certification an asset.
- Minimum 1 year of cooking experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and safety protocols.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, communicating clearly and respectfully.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
