- Inventory Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintain inventory records, and order supplies and equipment as needed.
- Cooking and Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, including dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas, clean kitchen and work areas, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Team Leadership: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and manage kitchen operations.
- Certifications and Licenses: Possess a Safe Food Handling certificate and adhere to all health and safety regulations.
As a Line Cook at Taps Public House, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail, teamwork, and customer satisfaction. You will be required to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work under pressure.
Requirements- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication.
- Work Schedule: 35 to 40 hours per week.
