Healthcare Assistant Position for Patient Care

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Mayers Care. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the cleaning and maintenance of medical equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
- Serving meal trays to patients, promoting a sense of community and social interaction.
- Delivering messages and ensuring that patients receive important information in a timely manner.
- Taking vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure, to monitor patient health.
- Bathing patients, providing essential personal care and hygiene services.
- Administering first aid when necessary, responding quickly and effectively in emergency situations.
Work Environment and Hours
This position requires a commitment of 35-40 hours per week, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while still making a meaningful contribution to our team. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, but we prioritize the well-being of our staff and provide regular breaks to ensure your comfort and safety.
Estimated Salary
The estimated annual salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000, depending on location and experience. We offer competitive compensation packages that reflect the value we place on our employees' hard work and dedication.
