Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Retail Operations Manager to join our team at Canadian Tire #065. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organized individual to oversee the day-to-day operations of our retail store.
About the Role
The Senior Retail Operations Manager will be responsible for managing the sales floor, ensuring that all sales areas are fully stocked and merchandised. This includes assigning sales workers to duties, hiring and training new staff members, and authorizing returns and exchanges. Additionally, you will establish work schedules, prepare reports on sales volumes and personnel matters, and resolve any issues that may arise.
Sales Floor Management
You will supervise and coordinate the activities of cashiers, grocery clerks and shelf stockers, as well as retail salespersons and sales clerks. Your goal is to provide excellent customer service while maintaining a fast-paced environment and working under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar position. You should possess accurate communication skills, be a team player, and have the ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
Benefits
This permanent position offers a competitive salary of $45,000 per year, paid in bi-weekly installments. Benefits include group insurance benefits, life insurance, dental plan, disability benefits, and vision care benefits.
