Job Title: Marketing and Business Development Lead

At DIALOG-DESIGN, we're passionate about design and its impact on communities. We're seeking a highly motivated and proactive Marketing and Business Development Lead to join our team in Edmonton.

About the Role:
  • Develop and execute a cohesive and integrated marketing and business development strategy for the Edmonton region.
  • Work closely with regional leaders, marketing and communications team members, and other stakeholders to achieve business growth and increase the studio's profile.
  • Lead a local team of marketing and business development specialists and provide coaching and development opportunities to ensure consistent application of the practice-wide marketing and business development strategy.
  • Collaborate with functional leads to support internal marketing and business development initiatives.
  • Represent DIALOG at industry associations and engage with relevant groups to build relationships and identify opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and understand Edmonton's regional portfolio and opportunities, sharing insights with practice groups and other MarCom team members.
  • Develop and lead the implementation of a regional marketing and business development strategy, including annual budget development and sales revenue targets.
  • Support the team on large pursuits and proposals, including writing and editing content, graphic design, and presentation support.
  • Maintain market pipeline information and data on client cultivation and engagement.
  • Work with teams to prioritize and action award applications, project photography, conference participation, sponsorships, and other stakeholder and client engagement initiatives.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or equivalent.
  • 12+ years' experience in progressive business experience, including 2+ years managing others.
  • 6+ years of A/E industry experience in a similar role.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
  • Experience multitasking in a fast-paced environment, coordinating stakeholders, and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent storytelling skills and exceptional interpersonal skills.
