Job Title: Marketing and Business Development Lead

At DIALOG-DESIGN, we're passionate about design and its impact on communities. We're seeking a highly motivated and collaborative Marketing and Business Development Lead to join our team in Edmonton.

About the Role:
  • Develop and execute a regional marketing and business development strategy to drive growth and increase the studio's profile.
  • Lead a local team of marketing and business development specialists to ensure consistent application of the practice-wide marketing and business development strategy.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and leverage opportunities for design-led architecture firms.
  • Develop and maintain market pipeline information and data on client cultivation and engagement.
  • Support the development of proposals, presentations, and other marketing materials.
  • Participate in co-leading, coordinating, and project managing key firm-hosted events.
  • Attend local partner meetings and participate in discussions related to regional business development opportunities.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or equivalent.
  • 12+ years of progressive business experience, including 2+ years of managing others.
  • 6+ years of A/E industry experience in a similar role.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign.
  • Experience multitasking in a fast-paced environment, coordinating a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Experience leading, developing, and executing strategic marketing plans.
  • Proven experience developing staff and managing a variety of employees.
  • Excellent storytelling skills and exceptional interpersonal skills.
