Job Summary:

The Site Maintenance Coordinator will oversee and coordinate industrial janitors and floor professionals to maintain the cleanliness of our site facilities to the highest level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet daily with Manager to discuss job requirements and duties
  • Provide positive leadership and set examples for subordinates
  • Conduct site inspections for assigned regions
  • Assist with general cleaning, including trash removal, dusting, and cleaning facilities
  • Assist with floor maintenance, including sweeping, mopping, and buffing floors
  • Read and explain MSDS sheets
  • Coach and train staff
  • Ensure health and safety processes are completed and compliant

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years residency in Canada for clearance purposes
  • Floor care experience required
  • Able to operate cleaning equipment and machines
  • Effective communication skills
  • WHIMIS certified and IPAC training an asset
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. for 3 to 8 hours per shift
  • Clear criminal background check required
