Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit research project participants by contacting eligible individuals, communicating project goals and processes, and reviewing consent forms.
  • Collect data by administering questionnaires, extracting data from hospital records, and typing consent forms.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to share information and clarify research project details.
  • Maintain databases and spreadsheets, and enter project data as required.
  • Participate in meetings, gather background materials, and conduct literature searches to support research projects.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in a field such as public health, health sciences, statistics, or psychology, and two years of recent experience in a health research environment.
  • Knowledge of library database searching methods, research project processes, and scientific terminology.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including word processing, database, and internet applications.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to upholding the shared responsibility of creating lasting and meaningful reconciliation in Canada.
