We are seeking an experienced Research Clinical Trials Project Coordinator to join our team at PHSA.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, coordinating clinical trials and research projects. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide project management services for research studies, including planning, leading, and maintaining project objectives. This will involve working closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) and other stakeholders to determine opportunities for new initiatives, grants, and projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of clinical trials, particularly in oncology, and be able to evaluate service delivery. They will also have excellent interpersonal, management, coordination, and communication skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and database platforms such as RedCap.

Responsibilities
  • Provide project management services for research studies, including planning, leading, and maintaining project objectives.
  • Work closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) and other stakeholders to determine opportunities for new initiatives, grants, and projects.
  • Assist in writing and/or editing significant portions of ethics, regulatory, and other documentation in support of research projects and activities within the investigator-initiated study.
  • Facilitate the development, maintenance, and enhancement of procedures and processes for the operation of a research project.
  • Manage financial resources and help develop budgets for new studies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or related field, plus a minimum of five years of research experience in the health care sector.
  • Certification such as Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) or Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA), or Clinical Research Associate/Coordinator Certification preferred.
  • Sound understanding of clinical trials, particularly in oncology.
  • Extensive knowledge of scientific terminology and research methodology in the health sector.
  • Ability to evaluate service delivery.
